Leadership for Aurora

Aurora needs STRONG & EXPERIENCED INNOVATORS that will help strengthen our city

Election Day is November 7th!

Meet our Candidates

Mike Coffman

Mayor

Whether as a public servant or a Marine, Mike’s career has been dedicated to defending our country and making a difference for Aurora. As Mayor, Mike has focused on reducing crime, addressing homelessness, and improving home affordability.

Curtis Gardner

City Council

While on City Council, Curtis has worked to strengthen our police, encourage economic development, and improve our quality of life. As a father of three, Curtis wants to make sure Aurora remains a city today’s children will want to live in once they’ve become adults.

Jono Scott

City Council

Jono is a thoughtful leader committed to public safety, economic prosperity, and making Aurora more affordable. He opposes higher taxes and fees on the people and businesses of Aurora; and he recognizes crime as the city’s single most pressing issue.

Stephanie Hancock

City Council, Ward 4

Stephanie Hancock is a wife, mother, grandmother, small business owner, and the president of the Aurora Cultural Arts District. She knows that crime is a problem in Aurora and that, to protect our kids and the city’s future, we need to get illegal drugs off our streets. She’s also focused on affordability and economic growth.

Angela Lawson

City Council, Ward 5

Angela has been a resident of Aurora’s Ward 5 for 22 years. She has worked in public service since 2005 and served Aurora as an At-Large City Council member for the past eight years. Now she is running to serve Ward 5 to focus on the current challenges and opportunities.

FRANÇOISE BERGAN

City Council, Ward 6

Françoise was first elected to serve Ward 6 on City Council in 2015. Since then, she has fought for our community, making Aurora a better place to work, live and raise a family. Her impact is evident in miles of additional trails, new and improved parks, and millions of dollars slated for open spaces — all without raising taxes.
